Awarded the Integration Prize 2020 and a prize money
The German-Tamil Society eV had applied for the integration prize of the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district of Berlin this year and was awarded the integration prize 2020 and prize money of 1,000 euros for its diverse integrative work on December 4, 2020 in the Schöneberg town hall.
With the integration award, the district would like to honor special achievements by associations, institutions, organizations, groups or people in the district who have made an outstanding contribution to the participation of the migrants living here and to the intercultural opening of society. The suggestions and applications received will be reviewed by an independent jury and the winners will be determined. The Tempelhof-Schöneberg District Assembly provided 1,000 euros as prize money.
The award ceremony on December 4th, 2020 in the Schöneberg Town Hall was carried out by the district councilor Stefan Böltes and the district mayor Angelika Schöttler, who also gave the laudation, and in the presence of the integration officer Dr. Lisa Rüter. Due to the pandemic, the award ceremony in the hall of the district assembly could only take place on a small scale, but should be recognized again at the next award ceremony in the coming year.
Thanks.
